By US law, every visitor-visa applicant is assumed to be an intending immigrant until they prove otherwise. The burden is on you to convince the officer you'll return home. A refusal under 214(b) is not permanent — you can reapply once your situation changes — but there's no appeal and no waiver for it.
Most B1/B2 interviews last just 2–5 minutes, with 3–8 questions. The officer has already read your DS-160 on screen before you reach the window. Every part of VisaPrepared — the guided form, the AI review, and the mock interview — prepares you for the three things the officer is really checking:

What is VisaPrepared, and what does it actually do?
VisaPrepared is an independent AI prep tool for the US B1/B2 visitor visa. It guides you through your DS-160 answers in plain language, reviews them with AI for gaps and inconsistencies, explains the process, and lets you practice a mock interview — so you walk in prepared and consistent.
Is VisaPrepared affiliated with the US government or an embassy?
No. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the US Department of State, any US embassy or consulate, or any government agency. VisaPrepared is a private, independent preparation tool.
Does VisaPrepared file my DS-160 or book my appointment?
No. We help you prepare, but you still submit the official DS-160 yourself on the government site (ceac.state.gov), pay the official fee, and book your own interview appointment. We never file or book anything on your behalf.
Can VisaPrepared guarantee my visa will be approved?
No — and no honest service can. The decision is made solely by a US consular officer. We help you prepare more thoroughly and answer consistently and truthfully, which reduces avoidable mistakes, but we cannot promise an outcome.
Is my personal information private and secure?
Your answers are stored securely and are private to your account — other users can't see them, and we never send your information to any embassy or the government. We only use your data to power the features you choose to use, like AI review and interview practice.
How does the AI DS-160 review and mock interview work?
After you fill in your answers, the AI checks them for completeness, consistency, and common red flags, then gives you a clean, copy-ready final answer set. The mock interview plays a consular officer using your own answers, then gives you a readiness score and feedback. It's practice only — it does not decide your real visa outcome.
Which visas does VisaPrepared support, and what does it cost?
Right now we focus on the US B1/B2 visitor (tourism and business) visa so we can do it well. Note that the official government visa application fee (typically $185 for B visas) is separate, paid directly to the government, and set by the US Department of State — not by us.
Can I delete the information I've provided to VisaPrepared?
Yes. You can request deletion of all the details you've provided at any time. A self-serve delete option is on the way; until it ships, contact us and we'll remove your data. Just remember: always answer truthfully — misrepresentation to a consular officer can lead to a permanent bar under INA 212(a)(6)(C).
